The Illuminated Life School Network serves students from birth to graduation in pod schools, physical schools, and with a virtual/homeschool program. Students have the option to move between a physical school and the online academy, as meets their needs.
We cultivate a loving, nurturing and nourishing community where all students and families are welcomed and supported, and where our students learn to engage respectfully and generously with each other and the world, developing a spirit of responsibility and commitment to service.
WHERE WE’RE STARTING: In Phase 1 we’ll be launching pod schools in Puerto Rico to test our model in a small cost-effective setting. In Phase 2 we’ll be launching a virtual/homeschool program, and expanding our pod school program, and in Phase 3 we’ll launch our first physical school.

Christopher Soto (b. 1986, Guayama, Puerto Rico) majored in Industrial Engineering (Bachelor of Science) with a Masters in Fine Arts at Full Sail University. A self taught artist, Soto’s art seeks to provoke the viewer to venture into the self while considering external socio-political and social themes. This micro-macro perspective is a common theme the artist employs while using storytelling as a vehicle to translate a deeper connection between culture and surrealism. Across his works the story is one of the constant cyclical process of suffering and evolution that defines our human condition. Drawing upon inspiration from his ancestral folklore, greek mythology, and his own dreams; Soto’s work is constantly evolving while maintaining its gaze fixed on the intersectionality of the fallibility of humanity and the divine.
Exhibitions include Telemundo PR (2001), U.S. Capitol (2003), University of Puerto Rico (2010), Hello Again: Lincoln Motors (2013), GOYA Awards Gala (2015), Dreams (2021), Leaves: A Resilient Island (2022). Soto has participated in several group exhibitions regionally and internationally including California, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, China, and Paris. Recent collaborations include: Designer EJE INTL New York Fashion Week (2022) and DC Fashion Week (2021).
Lorna Hernández is a muralist and painter from Puerto Rico who has participated in everything from prestigious Puerto Rico art events to influential international art fairs. Lorna’s art career started at the young age of 4. As a teenager, her art developed when she began experimenting with different art styles such as drawing anime characters, creepy monsters, and horses, which she was particularly fond of. Because of her love for animals, Lorna wanted to become a veterinarian, yet her life took a different turn when she got accepted in La Escuela de Artes Plásticas, Puerto Rico’s most prestigious art school.
In 2012, she met veteran muralist “El Chan Guri” who offered her a “blank” wall during Miami Art Basel, which became her first experience to paint a mural among other international famous and aspiring muralists.
Throughout the years, Lorna has utilized the visibility that big-scale art offers, as the perfect opportunity to express different social messages. Her art can be characterized using “flowy” linework that entangles subjects into a mesmerizing float-like state, using black and white as main colors. She also has an interest in robotic art and uses certain characteristics such as split limbs and torsos where the line playfully roams around humans or animals, coming out and back in through space voids where the line unites everything.

The first time I saw a camera was in my father's hand, he was a passionate Nikon enthusiast and I remember being fascinated by seeing those photos on paper. Their rich colors and the smell of the photograph was something I fell in love with. It was while studying computer science at the University of Puerto Rico that I started capturing images of friends close to me. I immediately fell in love with the medium. It wasn't until a close friend died that I learned about the power of an image - the experience was a catalyst for my current journey.
I'm known for my work with paint and skin. I believe skin is the most interesting canvas of them all and especially love working with inspired people to create impossible beautiful imagery that celebrates our sexuality. In 2011 I moved to New York, and the city's energy inspired me like nothing before.
Each image I print is the result of hundreds of hours of experiments. It is only after capturing thousands of images that I select a single one to be a part of my series. These ones are made available for purchase, as very limited edition large format prints.
Marisol Puesquera comes from a very talented Puerto Rican Family (her mother an art teacher and her father an awarded commercial photographer).
"For many years I shied away from an inherent talent in photography but thankfully came to realize my potential once given the right amount of motivation. During my years living in Miami, I held the position as primary assistant to Wedding Photographer Amanda Julca. It's safe to say that through this venture as assistant photographer, I got bit by the photography bug. I am so grateful for such great experience.
After a bit of international traveling, moving from México and then meeting my partner in crime and settling back in Puerto Rico, slowly but surely Freelance Photography materialized. Not only do I have the distinct joy to document amazing couples but also have the opportunity to work in commercial photography as well. My wedding work has taken me all over Puerto Rico, the US and is now expanding internationally. My commercial clients include AT&T, Direct TV, Free People and growing..."
